Hi guys,
I'm currently in contact with a raw food blogger and instructor Carmella from Canada who will be touring the US in November (you can find her blog at:
http://www.thesunnyrawkitchen.blogspot.com/). She will be in DC the first week of November and I was trying to get her to organize a class/workshop and/or potluck in the DC area. Would anyone be interest in attending such an event and have any insight/connections on where to hold the event?
If we could organize something around the 9th, she may also be joined by another raw food blogger and teacher, Heathy (
http://rawgoddessheathy.blogspot.com/). Here are a number of possible workshops Carmella is proposing:
Making it Raw - I will share some helpful tips and delicious recipes for making a successful transition to the raw food diet.
Raw Soups Made Easy - Think of raw soups as savory smoothies; they're a fantastic and easy way to consume lots of veggies and get some precious liquid too! Raw soups are quick to prepare and of course sooooo delicious! In this class, I will walk you through some of our favorite raw soups.
