- Hi Luci,
I received a call for artists for a gig at the phillips collection - just one rehearsal prior the 3rd if at all.
The character is based on the Migration Series by Jacob Lawrence.
. The role is that of a tenant farmer. No script per se, but it will involve some prior research into work songs, union songs and the like. It is mostly just play-acting, involving audience. This character is someone who can sing period work songs and also break out into union songs. The director, is looking for a Black female singer.

I am being a good daughter and helping my parents through some health challenges. I expect to be out of pocket until mid-August if not later. My Dad has a BEAUTIFUL GARDEN. I plan to post photos as soon as possible...Functioning between Silver Spring and Petersburg VA... Moreso in VA these days. I know that you understand.
